Emil A. Reindl, 55, of 618 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Thursday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, of a coronary attack. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude LeClair will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mr. Reindl was born March 3, 1912, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Charles and Barbara Tisler Reindl. He was educated at St. Joseph School, Kellnersville, and worked as a baker at Art’s Bakery, S. 10th Street. He was a World War II veteran, having spent four years in the Armored Supply Unit as a mess sergeant, and served as a mess sergeant, and served in the European Theater of War. He was wounded in action in France and received the Purple Heart. After his return to Manitowoc he joined the employ of the Manitowoc Equipment Works. He married Ann Roubal Nov. 18, 1941, at St. Boniface Church, Manitowoc, and was affiliated with the Eagle Aerie No. 706, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Otto Oas Post, Machinists Local 516 and Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife, a son, Charles at home, a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Maureen) Van De Hey of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, two brothers, Matt of Manitowoc and Erwin of Branch; seven sisters, Mrs. Roland Vieweger, Mrs. Erwin Lange, Mrs. Charles Piper, Mrs. Michael Mraz and Mrs. Orville Skaren of Manitowoc and Mrs. Edward Fogeltanz and Mrs. Catherine Lensmeyer of Kellnersville and a grandchild. A brother preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where at 7 p.m. the Eagle memorial services will be conducted and at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by HNS members.
