Aaron Ray Conway, 78, of Desloge, passed away April 28, 2003, at St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights. He was born September 4, 1924, in Shannon County.
He was a 30 year retiree from General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Nettie Ellis Conway; and his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Conway.
He is survived by: his wife, Betty Young Conway of Desloge; daughter: Judith A. Conway of St. Louis; two grandchildren; Jerrad P. Jasper of Fla., and Jill Jasper of St. Louis; two great-grandsons. Austin Ray and Cole Jasper; one sister. Edith Botkin of Centerville; four step-children: Debrorah Stegemann of Calif., Andrea Rodgers of Park Hills, Tammy Criswell of Ala., Tom Underwood of Ark.; eight step-grandchildren: Shellie, Tabetha, Cherie, T. H., Chad, Ryan, Bradley, Jason; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with the Rev. George Bradley officiating.
Interment will be in St. Francois Memorial Park.
