Robert Benjamin Glaubitz was the fourth of eight children born to Louis and Alvina Glaubitz.

He married Ida Neubert on March 10, 1891. They had four children: Edwin, Clarence, Elsie Glaubitz Zander Wage, and Alvina Paula Glaubitz Widmer.

Robert worked at the Shawano Lumber Co. in Wittenberg, WI.
