One of the best men I have ever known. He was a farmer and had 3 children. He owned his home and his land. Tremont: Howard Gann, 78, died Saturday morning at Itawamba County Hospital. He was a retired farmer. Services were held 1 p.m. Monday at the Tremont Methodist Church with Doyce Gunter officiating. Burial was in Itawamba Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ola Mae Kidd Gann of Tremont; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Graham of Fulton; two sons, Bobby Gene Gann of Hawaii and James R. Gann of Ft. Benning, GA; a brother, Hosman Gann of Fayette, Ala.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
