Roberta (Miller) Nighswonger Hare, 81, retired Lear Jet upholsterer, died Wednesday, Nov, 9, 2011 at Sug's Home Care, Conway Springs, KS. She was born Aug. 21, 1930 and was a 1948 graduate of CSHS.

Roberta married Dean Nighswonger Sept. 18, 1948. She later married Alfred T. Hare Feb. 15, 1998. He died Jan. 2, 2000. Also preceded by parents Clayton Miller and Marie (Blackburn) Miller; sister Opal Wheeler and son Michael Nighswonger.

Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 United Methodist Church.

Survivors: two daughters: Cathy (Calvin) Brown of Katy, TX; Marie Troup of Conway Springs; one step-daughter Sherry (Dan) Bender of Conway Springs; one brother Clayton Miller of Atchison; 8 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 12 step-great grandchildren and 3 step-great great grandchildren.
