Irean Alvey Heaps, 92, passed away at the Heritage Convalescent Center in American Fork Monday, April 22, 1991. She was born May 5, 1898 in Escalante, Utah to James and Cynthia McInelly Alvey. She married Levi Duane Heaps August 7, 1917. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple, July 15, 1925. He died May 3, 1985. She is survived by four sons: Van, American Fork; Gerald, Pleasant Grove; James C., Orem; S. Ray, West Valley; two brothers: Alfred Alvey, Idaho Falls; Evan Alvey, West Valley; one sister Vila Fender, West Valley; 30 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Guardner and W. Ken Heaps. Burial will be April 26, 1991.
