OBITUARY - CLARA UTENA MOLER WELLS
Clara Utena, daughter of Lewis and Lucinda MOLER, was born May 9, 1875, in Worth County, Missouri, and departed this life July 22, 1952, at the home of her daughter, Mabel, of Kellerton.

At an early age she united with the Methodist church and remained a faithful member.

On October 2, 1895, she was united in marriage with James WELLS, of Trenton, Mo., and to this union were born seven children: Mrs. Carl HOGUE, Kellerton; Mrs. Archie WAUGH, Lamoni; Mrs. Don DILLON, Des Moines; Geo. and Vivian, Mount Ayr, and Raymond, Richmond, Calif. A daughter, Beulah, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, a twin sister, Mrs. Carrie MILLER, of Redding, two other sisters, Mrs. Charlie HARDY, of Grant City, Mo., and Mrs. Orin HOTCHKISS, of Red Lodge, Mont.; a brother Sel MOLER, of Elwood, Ind., 23 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, July 24, at 2 o'clock, from the Rhoades Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, conducted by the Rev. A. R. WEED, of Lamoni. Burial was in the Redding cemetery.
