George Edward Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. G. Adams, of Akron, was born here January 4, 1916. After graduating from. Akron High School he engaged in the gas and oil business here, operating the Highway Service Station at the time of his death. He married Miss Helen Anderson her five years ago.

He is survived by his wife; two small children, Jerome and Patricia Ann, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. G. Adams; a twin brother Robert, of Akron; two other brothers John, who holds a position in conjunction with United States air force operations, and Charles, of Akron, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Janette Gabel of near Merrill.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his residence here, Rev. J. Olen Kennell, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.

Mr. Adams was a member of Freedom lodge, No. 434, A. F. & A. M. and Masonic burial rites were conducted at the graveside in Riverside cemetery.
