Funeral Mass for Arnold L Arndorder of St Benedict, 62, in the St Benedict Catholic Church. Internment is in the church cemetery with military graveside rites.

Arnold Louise Arndorfer was born at Corwith IA Sept 13 1920, a son of John and Caroline Mueller Arndorfer. He attended school at St Benedict and served with the navy during WWII. Arnold was married to Betty Courtney at Algona Apr 10 1947 and he farmed in the St Benedict area until his health failed 6 years ago. He had been a resident at the Good Samaritan Center in Algona the past 4 years and died there Sunday Apr 17.


Mr Arndorfer is survived by 8 children: Tom, Wesley; Diane Arndorfer, Rochester, MN; Lynn, Mrs Dennis Gilson, Mason City; John, stationed at San Diego, CA with the navy; Jan, Mrs Charles Frideres, Algona; Mike, Wesley; Mark, Slippery Rock, PA and Lori Arndorfer, Algona. There are 6 grandchildren.
