Mary Ann Conger was married to Burdine Scott. Burdine was born Jan 13, 1818 in Kentucky. He died April 07, 1890, but I haven't found where he is buried.
Their daughter was Alma L Scott. She married William Marshall Stickler.
Mary Ann is buried to the left of William and Alma.

OLD RESIDENT EIGHTY-SIX YEARS OLD GONE
Mrs. Ann Conger was born in Gurnsey county, Ohio, May 25, 1831, died March 16, 1918, at Cincinnati, Iowa, aged 86 years, 9 months and 21 days.

She has resided at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alma Stickler, for a number of years, they were almost inseparable.

She was the eldest daughter of Elias G. and Rebecca Conger, one of a family of eleven children, all having passed to the great beyond but two.

She was one of the earliest settlers of Appanoose county, coming with her parents to Iowa, when but fifteen years of age, and has passed all the years of her life since then, near the place where she lived when she passed away.

She could relate many incidents of interest of Appanoose county of an earlier day.

She was married to R. B. Scott on February 22, 1874. To this union one child, Mrs. Alma Stickler, was born, who with two step children: Mrs. Lavina Beson, of Long Beach, Cal., and Charles H. Scott, state representative of this county, survive her.

When but twenty years of age she united with the Methodist church of Centerville, Iowa, and as long as her health and strength permitted, she was an ardent worker in the church, but in her declining years although not able to attend church she would often say, "It is well with my soul", and clung to the faith of her childhood.

She leaves behind two brothers, Sam, of Centerville, Iowa, and Enos, of Jacksonville, Ore., the above mentioned children besides a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her loss.

We may well say a mother in Israel has passed away.

The funeral was held Sunday at 1:30 conducted by Elza Scritchfield and burial was at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
