Utterback, a resident here for about 20 years, and at one time a printer on The Daily Oklahoman, walked into a hotel at 328 1/2 W. Grand Ave and asked if he might lie down for a few minutes because he felt ill. A maid called police who in turn called a fire department pulmotor squad. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Utterback and his wife, Rebecca, have been operating the typesetting company for about 15 years. Other survivors are two brothers, B. R. Utterback, 1612 NW 36; and W. E. Utterback, Hagerman, NM.
