Hill then Irvin Lord; 4. Claud Mallo 1885 – 1960; 5. Ray Mallo 1888 – 1919, he died single in WWII in France; and 6. Evelyn Mallo 1897.
The 1920 Federal census revealed that Alvin had been married to Ethel for 3 years. They lived on a farm and he did a general farming. They owned the farm, clear of any mortgages. In their household was little 2 year old boy. His name was Russell Mallo and he was their nephew. In the 1930 Federal census Russell was declared as an adopted son and 2 natural children had joined the family. Julia was 8 and Buxford was just 2 months old. The major source of entertainment in the ‘30's was a radio, and they answered yes when asked if they had one.
