He was born Saturday, March 26, 1932, son of the late Benjamin and Ella (Oliver) Greenwood.
He served his country in the US Air Force.
He was a member of the Grace Church of the Valley.
He worked as a Welder for Seagrams Distillery.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lila Greenwood; 3 sons, Dan (wife Paula) Greenwood, Mike (wife Sandy) Greenwood, and Rich (wife Karen) Greenwood; sister, Rosella Keck; and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Paul, Stanley, and Gerald.
Friends will be received Friday, April 29, 2011 from 5pm to 8pm at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, IN.
Funeral services will be held at the Grace Church of the Valley, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10am with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, IN.
