Lila Jo Greenwood, 83, of Greendale, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. She was born March 28, 1934, daughter of the late Alcedo and Hazel (Groce) Schmaltz.
She was a member of the Grace Church of the Valley and previously Emanuel Lutheran Church. She was homemaker. She was active in Tri Kappa, Aglow and teaching activities at church.
She is survived by 3 sons, Dan (wife Paula) Greenwood, Mike (wife Sandy) Greenwood, and Rich (wife Karen) Greenwood; 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Heather, Chris, Matthew, Rachel, Alyssa, Lauren and 3 great grandchildren, Esme, Amelia, Audrey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ben.
Friends will be received Friday, March 31, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Greendale, IN. Funeral services will be held at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:30 am with Pastor Barry Riehle and Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, IN.
Memorials may be made to the church or charity of donor's choice.
