The family lived in Endicott, NE for several years, where her father worked in the brick yards. They then moved to Hemingford, NE in 1943 and Tressa began her education at Hemingford Elementary school and graduated from Hemingford High School in 1956.
Tressa was married to Bob Duncan November 8, 1957 in Rapid City, SD, to this union two sons were born, Daniel and Douglas. The couple were lifetime residents of Hemingford.
Tressa was a member of Hemingford Volunteer Fireman Auxiliary a was instrumental in developing the dispatcher system for the Volunteer Fire Department. She was a dispatcher for 25 plus years. She was a Cub Scout leader Pack 210; attended the Evangelical Free Church in Alliance and her passion in life was sharing the salvation message of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was employed at Bruns Meat Service for ten years.
Tressa is survived by her two sons, Dan (Nancy) Duncan of Loveland, CO, Doug (Cindy) Duncan of Omaha, NE; granddaughter, Brooke Danielle Duncan of Loveland, CO; grandson, Bobbie Dylan Duncan of Omaha, NE; step-grandsons, Brett Taylor of Fort Worth, TX, Mark Blanco of Bayard, NE; her sister, Dorothy Tinsley of Mitchell, NE; brother, Lee (Mary) Branson of Chadron, NE; numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob in 2002; brother-in-laws, Norm Tinsley, Don Duncan and mother-in-law Mildred Mazanec.
Burial was in the Hemingford Cemetery, Hemingford, NE.
