She married Don W. Bateman in the Salt Lake Temple on August 17, 1953. They were blessed with four children: Jayne (Rick) Pugh, Keith (Margaret) Bateman, Gaye (Doug) Beecroft, Molly (Brock) Wilkinson; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a brother, Kenneth (Linda) Calton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Paul, Sid, Gene and Clae; and sister, Vera Brooks.
She loved spending time with her family. She was a great homemaker and always had a neat and tidy home. She had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities. Together with her sweetheart, she served an LDS service mission at the Lindon Cannery.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi Sego Lily Ward Chapel, 880 N. 700 E. Friends and family may call on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to services.
Interment at Lehi City Cemetery.
The family would like to express special appreciation to Harmony Home Health and Hospice, especially to Cammie, Jeanie and Shanna, for their compassionate and loving care to our mother.
