John Calvin Maugans, 43,
a foreman of the Blacksmith department of Frick & Co Waynesboro,Pa.
Son of Jacob T. Maugans, Mauganstown, died early Tuesday morning. He was a widower, age 43 years.
He leaves a father and mother.
Well Known in the county and several brothers, all skillful and Prominent machinists, and a sister, Mrs. William Clopper, this city.
John Calvin has held a position of importance with Frick, of Waynesboro, for nearly 15 years, and is a skillful artisan.
Another brother, Alvey Hamilton, went sometime ago to the Metcalf Machine Company, at Shippensburg, for a position as foreman in the Blacksmith department.
