BOONEVILLE - Carl Narcell Horn, 76, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. He was born March 11, 1935, in Prentiss County. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, and he was a member of the Booneville Church of Christ. He was a concrete plant manager and a restaurant owner. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, and he was a member of the VFW, Northeast Miss. CB Club and Northeast Miss. Coon Hunters Association. He was an avid fisherman.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Jim Estes and Bro. Danny Short officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

He is survived by a son, David Horn (Lisa) of Booneville; three daughters, Janet Coker (Tommy), Tammy Prentiss, all of Booneville, and Renea Moore (Michael) of New Site; a brother, James Harold Horn (Lana) of Booneville; nine grandchildren, Melissa Taylor (Brian) of Saltillo, Drew Horn (Mallory) of New Albany, John David Horn (Katie) of Guntown, Emily Horn, Chris Prentiss, both of Booneville, Matthew Prentiss (Stephanie) of Baldwyn, Tyler Moore, Carleigh Moore, and Caitlin Moore, all of New Site; two great-grandchildren, Lanah Prentiss and Dawson Horn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dauzy and Villar Isbell Horn.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Coker, Michael Moore, Chris Prentiss, Matthew Prentiss, Drew Horn and John David Horn.

Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Horn, Melvin Tennison, Lynn Lambert, Charles Edge, Robert Edge, Ricky Holley and Wayne Holley
