Tombstone
The shattered remnants of his tombstone have been reconstituted in a cement matrix. Some tombstone scholars don't approve of this method, but I do. It allows the original to remain in situ and protects it for the next 100 years. I don't recommend the process for sandstone tombstones from the 1700s. They should be brought indoors and stabilized and ultimately a replacement marker should be placed in situ.
