L. C. Christian Dies in Houston
Word has been received here by Ancil Lee Mangum of the death of a relative, L. C. Christian, who died about 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Baptist Memorial hospital in Houston. Seydler Funeral ambulance left to bring the body to Gonzales for services and interment which are pending.

L. C. Christian Funeral Saturday
Last rites will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Seydler Funeral home for Lycurgus C. Christian of Houston, who died Wednesday in the Baptist Memorial hospital there. He had been ill for several months.
A Houston minister will conduct the services with interment to take place in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
Christian was born in the Denton Creek section of the county to Elizabeth Green and O. M. Christian, natives of Kentucky and Georgia.
Survivors include a brother, Bert Christian of Los Angelers, Calif. and four sisters, Mrs. H. C. Magnum, Gonzales; Mrs. Bonnie Gunn, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. J. M. Gardner and Mrs. Laura Martin, both of El Paso. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
