Mrs. Bailey's
Rites Slated
Mrs. Mary Madella Bailey, 88 of
5908 Henderson St., died Thursday
at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Morrow
and had been a resident of Shreve-
port for 45 years. She was the
widow of Daniel W. Bailey.
Survivors are one son, Keiffer E.
Bailey Sr.; two daughters, Mrs.
William E. Polk, New York City,
and Mrs. Verna Cross of Shreve-
port; three grandchildren, four
great-grandchildren; one brother,
W. R. Morrow, of Shreveport; and
two sisters, Mrs. Alice M. Stewart
and Mrs. Stella M. Toler, both of
Shreveport.
Funeral services will be held at
4 p.m. Saturday at Rose-Neath
Chapel with the Rev. Howard Brad-
ford, pastor of Unity Church, of-
ficiating. Burial will be in Green-
wood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be K. E. Bailey
Jr., Jack M. Bailey, W. M. Stewart,
George Adcock, Dr. C. R. Gill,
and H. G. Waxham.
