Lucinda Sue Rucker, 91, of Columbia passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2009.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be immediately following at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial at Millersburg Baptist Cemetery.
Lucinda was born Dec. 4, 1918, to John Rueben Harness and Effie Eames Harness. She was united in marriage to G.W. Rucker on Nov. 13, 1942, in Chico, Calif.
Lucinda was happiest when spending time with her family. She loved to sew, plant flowers and cook.
She really loved being around people and didn't know a stranger.
Survivors include her children, Zandra Sandford and husband Graves of Moberly, Gary Rucker and wife Margie of St. Louis, and Susan Craig and husband Jim of Fulton; one brother, Sam Harness of Middletown; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and three brothers.
