John Seals purchased land in Harrison Co. Ind. in 1811- 1813 Washington Co. Ind. where he purchased more land in 1815-1818. John married Mary/Polly Lofton Fogleman Seals in Indiana. Their children: Dorcas Seals Streepy; Lindsey Seals; Eliza Seals Ashens Ogden; Jerusha Seals Beck, and Francis Alexander Seals. John died 1850 and buried in Simeon Lofton Graveyard, Posey T. Washington Co. Ind.
