Jennie Lavoie Robinson, 78, of Mapleton died Friday, October 9, 1987 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born October 4, 1909 in Spanish Fork to Francis David and Mary Ann Jensen Hughes. She married Elmer K. Robinson Aug. 25, 1930 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband of Mapleton; six sons and six daughters: Mrs. Guy (Geraldine) Wilson and Alan Robinson, both Springville; Mrs. Jerry (Clara Jean) Beck, Iris Ann Wight and Mrs. Allen (Lynda) Lee, all Orem; Kay Robinson, Kingman, Ariz.; Glenda Pino, Provo; Roger J. Robinson, serving in the U.S. Army in Kansas; Mrs. Terru (Helen) Mattinson and Dennis Robinson, both Mapleton; David Robinson, Spanish Fork; Robert Robinson, Santa Clara, Calif.; 56 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter, Paul Robinson and Phyllis Luken and two grandchildren.
