Elmer K. Robinson, age 87, of Mapleton, passed away Friday, March 8, 1996, at his home in Mapleton, of causes incident to age. He was born October 26, 1908, in Green River, Wyoming to Walter and Eva Jane Crosby Robinson. He married Jennie Lavoie Hughes August 25, 1930, in Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 14, 1956. He was preceded in death by his wife on October 9, 1987, his parents; two children, Paul Hughes Robinson and Phyllis Luker; one brother, Kenneth Robinson; two sisters, Leola Hunter and Norma Jacobsen; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. He is survived by six sons and six daughters: Geraldine (Guy) Wilson and Alan (Randy) of Springville; Dennis (Joyce), Helen Mattinson and Iris Ann (Merrill) Despain of Mapleton; Roger J. (Carol) of Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas; Clara Jean (Jerry) Beck of Kanab; Kay (Nadine) of Kingman, Arizona; Glenda Pino and David of Provo; Robert (Wynne) of Spanish Fork; Lynda (Allen) Lee of Orem; 70 grandchildren, 107 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great- grandchildren, one brother, Raymond W. Robinson of Orem and three sisters: Vione Reece of Payson, Vivian Walters of St. George and Charlotte Mecham of Provo. Burial was March 13, 1996.
