RICHARD J. PARKER, 59, Roeland Park, died Mar. 23, 1991, at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born in Topeka and had lived in this area since 1956. Mr. Parker was a maintenance mechanic for American Western Corp. before he retired in 1985. He graduated from the Central technical Institute in 1958. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Dwight Cowles post of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Judith A. Parker of the home, two sons, Dennis L. Parker, Topeka, and Courtney D. Parker, Springfield, MO.; a daughter, Laura L. Bennett, Haines City, FL; his father, Irl W. Parker, Sr., of the home; a brother, Irl W. Parker, Jr., Junction City, KS; two sisters, Virginia Staunton, Chicago, and Ilene Pat Carlson, Los Angeles; and eight grandchidlren. Services will be at 7 p.m. today at the Amos Family Chapel, Shawnee; graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Highland Cemetery, Junction City....
