Reo Stephens Perkins, age 78, of Springville, died Friday, November 27, 1992 in Orem of heart failure. He was born May 2, 1914 in Bicknell to Washington D. and Frances Adelia Perkins. He married Bessie Taylor on January 27, 1931 in Nephi. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. she died in 1982. He is survived by one son and three daughters: Jay Perkins, Mrs. Ted (Evelyn) Fletcher, Mrs. Neil (Paula) Hone, all of Springville; Carol Johnson of Orem. 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Porter Nyda) Leavitt, Newman Perkins, Mary Benoit, of Las Vegas; Oris Perkins of Copperton; Dean Perkins of San Jose, California. He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Ted Perkins; two daughters: Vernita Fox and Joy Perkins. Burial was December 1, 1992.
