She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin, Bill and John Schuessler and three sisters, Florence Arnold, Verna Arnold, and Margaret Frost.
She worked as a sales clerk in Jacksonville, beginning at Kresge's Store, followed by Sears, where she was employed for 31 years, and retired from in 1977. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially time spent traveling with her husband, knitting, and crocheting. Aileen was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and most recently a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Services were entrusted to Buchanan and Cody Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
