Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Dr. Lowell Howard and the Rev. David Foster officiating.
Interment followed at Der Stadt Friedhof.
Visitation was held Monday evening and Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
Mrs. Durst was born Aug. 6, 1921, in Blanco County, the daughter of Nace Felps and Frieda Heikel Felps. She married Harold (Dick) Durst on Dec. 25, 1941. He preceded her in death.
Over the years, Mrs. Durst worked at Market Produce, retired from the Fredericksburg Independent School District where she worked with food service and was a receptionist at the Golden Hub in recent years.
Mrs. Durst is survived by three sons, one daughter and spouses, including H. Buford and JoAnn Durst and Janice Dodd, all of Fredericksburg; Ronald and Vicki Durst of San Antonio, and Keith and Alice Durst of Oak Island.
Survivors also include eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Janet Felps of Pasadena.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Durst was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, including Jake Felps, Emil Felps, Ruby Lewis, Cora Felps and Joy Hanna.
Memorials may be made to the Golden Hub, Meals On Wheels or the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Jeff Durst, Kyle Durst, Joel Durst, Shannon Durst, Will Durst and Ryan Botkin.
