Del Norte Prospector dated June 22, 1934
Thomas J. Duncan, father of Henry, Robert, and Ray Duncan of Del Norte, died Friday. He was 70 years old. Mr. Duncan came to Del Norte last July from Oklahoma and has made his home here with his son Ray. The family home had been in Oklahoma since 1887.
He was born April 10, 1864 at Brownsburg, Indiana. On January 26, 1886, at Chillicothe, Missouri, he was married to Miss Adeline Melton. Seven sons were born to Mr. and Mrs. Duncan. The sons and seventeen grandchildren survive.
