*note... Cyrus' birth date is intentionally different in the data field than what is written on the marker and in the marker order form. True proof of his birth date is not known to me; however the 1820,1830,1840 censuses all indicate he was not old enough to have been born in 1790. It appears he was 4 or 5 years younger. His military grave registration card indicates his birth as 1796.

Cyrus Catlin married Clarissa Davis on August 20, 1842 in Athens county, OH

Probate file was for a Cyrus Catlin, who had widow Clarissa, children & spouses: Corinda Baker dau of Sally Ann (Catlin) Baker; Alvira F. Catlin; Martin & Louisa (Catlin) Bean; Leander & Eliza Ann (Catlin) Burlingame; Stephen Catlin; G.L. Catlin; and Biscoe & Orena (Catlin) Bean.
