Patrick was the son of Jacob and Rose (Blotske) Kraft. She was the mother of Stephanie and Jacob Kraft. Sister to Charlene Green, Luanna Nelson and Thomas A. Hogg. She was a 1973 graduate of Seattle's Ballard High School. She was rushed to St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington, where she died from cardiac arrest, resulting from a defective heart valve, less than two weeks before her 40th birthday.
