CPL US ARMY - WORLD WAR II

WESSON, Donald A., 88, of Spring Hill, Fla., passed away February 22, 2011. He was born October 7, 1922, in Nashua, N.H.


Mr. Wesson came to Spring Hill in 1986 from Hudson, N.H. He retired as an electronics technician for several aerospace companies, mostly for RDF Co. in Hudson, N.H.


He was an avid golfer who enjoyed several local courses and was noted for playing 25 different courses in a single summer. Mr. Wesson was a history buff, particularly in early United States and U.S. Constitutional history.


A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. in the South Pacific as a medic and dental technician for three years.


He was a Master Mason for 53 years, member of Rising Sun Lodge in Nashua, N.H., and Protestant in faith.


He was predeceased by his wife, Pearl (Pashley) Wesson in 2003, and brothers, Earle, Ray and Dick Wesson.


He is survived by his son, Bruce E. Wesson (Cathy) of Spring Hill, Fla. (Pub. in TBO.com on 2/25/2011)
