T.W. LEMMING DIES SUNDAY

Thomas Wilburn Lemming died Sunday morning at 3:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Vera Myers, 805 Darlington Way.

Mr. Lemming was born in Floyd county January 26, 1867, and had lived here all his life. He had been employed by the Pepperell Manufacturing Co., for 25 years and was a member of the Knights of Pythias.

Besides his daughter, Mrs. Myers, he is survived by two sons, Carl Lemming of Silver Creek, and O. L. Lemming of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, H. J. Lemming of Lindale, J. E. Lemming of Rome, and J. H. Lemming of Atlanta, and a sister, Mrs. N. B. Mize of Cedar Bluff, Ala. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 3:30 from the Wax Baptist church by the Rev. H. E. Wright and interment was in the Wax cemetery.

Pallbearers were Floyd Teague, Harry Walker, DeWit Garner, John Engleburg, Lloyd Lemming and Obie Atkinson.
