Civil War. Company F, 126th Regiment, 11th Cavalry, Indiana Volunteers. Enlisted: 7-31-1862 for 60 days service, being discharged at the end of that time. Again enlisted 12-19-1863 for three years service. Performed his duties faithfully until he was released 9-1-1865, at the close of the war. Born: 4-11-1833, the son of Henry and Nancy Litsey. Died: 11-20-1905 in Parke County, Indiana. Buried: Bethany Cemetery. Per Rockville Republican 12-6-1905.
