Charles M. McBryde, 80, of 633 Spring Lane died Thursday in Manor Care of Pinehurst.
Mr. McBryde was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion & the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Woodmen of the World.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the White Hill Presbyterian Church cemetery by the Rev. Douglas J. Monroe.
Mr. McBryde is survived by his wife, Lois McBryde of the home; four daughters, Martha Monroe of Sacramento, Calif., Frances Mann of Greenville, Jane Mann of Raleigh and Sarah Spital of Smithfield, Va.; a brother, Lewis McBryde of Sanford; and 10 grandchildren.
