Adelaide Wellems
MILES CITY, MT. --- Adelaide Wellems, was born in 1892 at Fort Keogh near Miles City, lived all her 87 years in the area.
An active supporter of Cathlic orders and groups, she was a member of Range Riders Reps.
Mrs. Wellems died Friday in Custer County Rest Home.
She was the daughter of Christine and Catherine Barthelmess.
Her father was a photographer, and his picture of the Fort have been published for their historical value.
In 1915 she married Peter ;Nick" Wellems in Miles City.
He died in 1971.
Survivors include three sons; a brother, one sister; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
