Verland Emmett Bolinger

THERMOPOLIS - Services for Verland Emmett Bolinger, 83, will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Mortimore Funeral Home.

Pastor Vernon Howerton of the Assembly of God Church, [sic] will officiate. Burial will be in Monument Hill.

Bolinger died March 1 at Hot Springs Memorial Hospital.

Born July 20, 1901 at Campbell County, Tenn., he was the son of the late William and InaBelle [sic] (Walker) Bolinger.

In 1938, he came to Wyoming and married Fern Cantleberry at Pinedale, Wyo. The lived in Arkansas for a while until settling in Thermopolis in 1946. He was employed by Charles M. Smith Construction Co., and was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Masons and Assembly of God Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 1980, and two brothers, Harry and Roy.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Baggs, Mountain View, Ark., and grandchildren, of Thermopolis, Roger McFall of Pine Bluffs, and , Houston, Texas, and six great-grandchildren.
