Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl I. Haskey, 88, of Rebecca, GA. will be held 1:30 PM, Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at The St. Williams Catholic Church in Fitzgerald, GA. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, GA. Mrs. Haskey passed away Saturday in Ben Hill Co., after a lengthy illness.

The daughter of the late Emmett Clay and Minnie LeNora Blackburn Israel, she was born in Turner Co., GA. and was a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church. She was a long time resident of Huntington Beach, CA, and was a member of the United Daughters of Confederacy. She served as President of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, Southern Dames of America, Sons and Daughters of The Pilgrim, Dame of Court of Honor, Daughters of American Colonists and Southern Dames of American. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Herschel Thomas "Bud" Johnson, Jr. and Raymond Haskey, her sons, Larry Thomas and Rodney Russell Johnsonbrothers, Roy, Travis and L. J. Israel and her sisters, Willie L. Arnett and Clara Streb.

Survivors include her daughter, Meriam Day of Fitzgerald, GA., a brother Elmo T. Israel, Albany, GA., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from Six until Eight at the St. Williams Catholic Church with Rosary Services at 8:00 PM in Fitzgerald, GA.
