COMMERCE – Perry Y. Reynolds, 76-year-old retired farmer died Thursday in a Dallas hospital.
Funeral services wil (sic) be at 2 p.m. today in the Campbell Church of Christ with Eddie DeLong and the Rev. Arthur Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Brigham Cemetery at Campbell under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Commerce.
Pallbearers will include Chester Shanks, Fred Irwin, Sherwin Wiggs, Harold Garrett, Dean Babb and Louis Holley.
The family will be at the W.G. Babb residence in Campbell.
Mr. Reynolds was born Oct. 4, 1893, in Campbell, son of Fred P. and Margaret Reynolds. He married the former Mattie L. Cowan on Nov. 26, 1919 in Commerce.
He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mattie Reynolds of Campbell; two daughters, Mrs. W.G. Babb of Campbell and Mrs. K.L. Hovland of Fort Worth; a son, Fred C. Reynolds of Celeste; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Reynolds of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. A.G. Henson of Fort Worth and Mrs. R.V. Cavender of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
