Valda White was born July 18, 1908, in Merit. She was a member of the Methodist church in Merit.
Survivors: Son, J.D. Roberts of San Diego; two brothers, M.E. Griffin of Hill Top Lakes and O.E. Griffin of Booker; granddaughter, Linda Roberts of California; and niece, Viola Mae Henry and husband John of Grand Prairie.
