Theodore Jeske, 73 (photo), of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral plans are incomplete awaiting arrival of a son, Philip, with the U.S. Air Force in Japan. He is flying home to attend the rites.

Mr. Jeske was born in Poland, May 8, 1882, and came to this country in 1904. He located in Manitowoc County in 1914 and Oct. 10, 1917, married Miss Meta Kattreh in Valders. They located on a farm in the town of Cato.

Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Theodore Schroeder and Mrs. Donald Bastian of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edwin Griffen of Cato and Mrs. Randy Harrison of Cato and Mrs. Randy Harrison of Chicago; three sons, Ronald of Manitowoc, Theodore Jr., on the homestead farm and Philip with the Air Force
in Japan; and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral plans will be announced by the Berge Funeral Home, Valders.
