Mrs. Jennie Hopp, 81, 110 S. Harris Avenue, Waupun, died Thursday, March 18, 1982, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 2, 1901, in the Netherlands, a daughter of Aart and Grietje Vande Kamp Vande Streek. She was married to Herman Sept. 16, 1927, in Alto.
The couple farmed in the Waupun area until Mr. Hopp's retirement in 1952, when they moved to the city of Waupun. Mr. Hopp died in 1957.
Mrs. Hopp was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Waupun.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Louis (Gladys) Jansma and Mrs. James (Mildred) Wierenga both of Waupun; one step-daughter, Mrs. Peter (Lillian) Lont, Waupun; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Art Vande Streek, Waupun; and William Vande Streek, Omro; three sisters, Mrs. Donald (Hanrietta) Killam, Markesan; and Mrs. John (Hattie) Schouten and Mrs. John (Gertrude) Hull, both of Waupun.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one stepson and one brother.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Reformed Church. The Rev. Elton Van Pernis officiated. Burial followed at Forest Mound Cemetery.
Visitation was held Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and at the church Monday from noon to the time of service.
