He was born May 23, 1914, in Aurora, and married Verona Chia Sept. 9, 1937, in Wilber, Neb. Mr. Rohrig was an electrician for more than 40 years. He was a member of IBEW Local 405, retiring in 1981.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Judy Bahmler of Iowa City; five sisters, Lena Nolte of Iowa City, and Rose Thomas, Liz Jenks, and Alice Tucker, all of Aurora, and Ruth Warne of New York; and four grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Donohue-Lensing's by the Rev. Ed Heininger. Burial: Memory Gardens Cemetery.
