Surviving are his wife. Irma Long Barton, Dayton; a daughter. Mrs. Larry B. (Shirley) Singleton of Dayton; and three sisters. Mrs. Thomas O. Howell of Radford and Mrs. James C. Scott and Mrs. Roy Bishop, both of Pulaski. Also surviving are three brothers, Victor K. Barton and Winfred E. Barton, both of Radford, and Harold Barton of Jacksonville. Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Barton was a World War II veteran and was the former vice president of the Addrite Business Machine Co. in Khoxville, Tenn. He was a member of the Fairmont Presbyterian Church in Knoxville.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Dick Rhea. Burial will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday at DeVilbiss.
