Mrs. Burnham passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2011 at Avalon Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born on Feb 25, 1921 in Carroll County Georgia to John Bates and Maggie White Bates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Clarence Burnham. She attended Rotherwood Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Angela (and husband Jamie) Phillips of Newnan; Kathy (and husband Pete) Turner of Newnan. Her grandchildren are Jeremy (Stephanie) Turner, Holly (Stacy) Davis,Tyler Turner. Her great-grandchildren are Zachary Turner and Darbee Rae Davis.
