Mae moved with her parents from Tillman County, Oklahoma to Rankin, Oklahoma as a young girl. On May 25, 1924 she was married to F.M. (Frosty) Estes. They continued to make their home near Reydon. She was a member of the Reydon First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1976, one son, one brother and one granddaughter.
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy Burks of Reydon, Jolene Keller, Downey, Calif.; Frankye Burton, Houston, Texas; and Rose Marie Mixon also of Houston, Texas; one son, Ted M. Estes of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Services were held Saturday, October 6, 1990 at 10:30 a.m. in the Reydon First Baptist Church with Eddie Overstreet and Lindy Sasser officiating. Burial was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
