He had been in failing health for several months and the last few weeks his condition became critical and he passed away Nov. 16, 1939 at 3:15 a.m. at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 29 days. Hasken was a man of good kind heart and his many friends will miss him.
Funeral services were held at the Best Funeral home at Cincinnati Saturday, November 18, 1939 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth E. Hunt officiating. Burial was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Bloomfield, Ia.
