America Chestina "Chess" Daily was the daughter of Ransom Selkirk Daily and Sarah Elizabeth Thorn. She was first married to Ezra Murray Arnold on October 1, 1885 near Linker Mountain, Pope, Arkansas.

After Ezra died in 1920, she remarried to Alfred Alexander Beeson about 1921 in Atkins, Pope, Arkansas.

After Alfred died in 1938, America again remarried to Charles D. Luttrell, Sr. on May 21, 1941 in Atkins, Pope, Arkansas. Charles' wife, Ruth Price Luttrell, had died on April 15, 1940 leaving him as a widower.

Charles and America both relocated to New Mexico where they lived their lives until their deaths in 1953 and 1966. They are both buried in the Hagerman Cemetery near Hagerman, Chaves, New Mexico.
