Mrs. Ida Barton of Town Schley Dies After Month's Illness - Survived by Son
Mrs. Ida Barton, town of Schley, died yesterday, on her twenty-fifth birthday, at the Holy Cross hospital, following a month's illness.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stein, Sr., she was born in the town of Schley on March 31, 1913.
She was married in Chicago on April 28, 1934, to Robert Barton, from whom she was later divorced.
Surviving, besides her former husband, are her parents: a son, Bernard; a brother, William Stein, Gleason; and three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Lorraine) Brooks, Mrs. Walter (Pauline) Behrens, and Miss Lucille Stein, all of Chicago.
The body will lie in state at the Gleason Presbyterian church tomorrow from 12 o'clock noon until 1 p.m., when funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Finch A. Clarke. Interment will be in the Lettish cemetery.
